Cute Survey: Getting to know ME and my HUSBAND

I found this cute survey over at Daily Dose of Drama whom I started following a while back because HER name is Laura and her HUSBAND's name is David . . . . . ummmm hello can you say WOW.  SO of course I had to check out her blog and start blog stalking her.

 Aren't they CUTE, look somewhat familiar???

1. What are your middle names? David Errol and Laura Ann

2. How long have you been together? 8 1/2 years married, 10 years all together with dating

3. How long did you know each other before you started dating? 7 years

4. Who asked who out? David asked me out, but it took him a LONG time to work up the nerve

5. How old are each of you? I am 41 and David will be 46 April 23rd

6. Did you go to the same school? No. We grew up in different states

7. Are you from the same home town? No. David is from Tupper Lake, NY and I was raised in Southbury, CT

8. Who is the smartest? I think we are both smart in different ways, but the most important part is that we are smart enough to have a relationship with Jesus Christ first before we have one with each other. 

9. Who majored in what? David went into the Marine Corp after high school and got his degree in tough Marine OohRahi!   While in the Marine Corp. David worked as a sheet metal mechanic on the 46 line and after Marine Corp days he continued to get specialized training and work in that area.  I have an associates in Interior Design and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

10. Who is the most sensitive? That would definitely be ME!

11. Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple? We crossed over to Canada while we were visiting his parents in the Adirondacks of New York.

12. Who has the worst temper? Definitely me, sadly I get my temper from my father, but I am responsible for how I behave now as an adult. David is very calm and patient.

13. How many children do you want? Let's stop with #3 due in October, HA

14. Who does the cooking? I cook most of the time.  BUT we live with my parents and Mom and I split cooking duties most evenings and sometimes my husband jumps in to cook things like fried fish and breakfast for dinner.

 
15. Who is more social? Me, but David will go along for the ride every time ;-)

16. Who is the neat freak? I am, I am the one who likes everything in it's place.  However, I will say that although I am great on the day to day surface cleaning, I HATE deep cleaning the bathroom and David will do that quicker then I will.

17. Who is the most stubborn? Definitely me!

18. Who wakes up earlier? David, I am totally NOT a morning person

19. Where was your first date? David took me out to dinner at a Jazz restaurant that I am sure isn't there any more, in Morehead City and then we went for walk on the beach.  I am not even sure he remembers it, it was out first date and NOT a whole lot of spark that night.  The one he would probably remember was our first date at University Park in Charlotte NC while I was at school.

20. Who has the bigger family? We both have three siblings, BUT David has way more extended family.  David's mother had 11 siblings other then herself, and his father had 4 other siblings, so multiply that you have a tail load of relatives.

21. Do you get flowers often? Every special occasion, and once in a while just because.  It used to be a whole lot more often when we didn't have to buy diapers, HA.

22. How do you spend the holidays? We mostly spend them here at home with my family, David's family is 18 hours away and so it is hard to get there all the time for holidays.

23. Who is more jealous? I don't think either of us are, I trust him and he trusts me.

24. How long did it take to get serious? I would say 3-4 years

25. Who eats more? Most of the time David does.BUT, he is better with his day time eating control, where as I am snicking and snacking all day.

26. What do you do for a living? David is sheet metal mechanic for the NADEP at the Marine Corp Air Station, and I am a FULL-TIME stay at home mom and a part-time Star Consultant for Southern Living at HOME.

27. Who does the laundry? Mostly me, but David does his work clothes.

28. Who's better with the computer? Me

29. Who drives when you are together? Usually David does.
