My MoG's Birthday

For David's 46th Birthday I planned a night out for just the two of just.  IT has been a very long time since we got to spend time alone and too many weeks to count since I have been placed on limited activity.  So months ago, I purchased tickets to see Jeremy Camp and his wife Adie in their "unplugged" tour and planned dinner out at my husbands favorite restaurant.  It was an AMAZING evening, fantastic dinner, wonderful company of great friends at the concert, and God's Holy Spirit filling the place and us through Jeremy Camp and Adie's talented voices.

Our friends Shalyn and Rebekah sat next to us for the concert.

This is our view of the stage, yes we were up in the balcony and the last row, but it ended up being perfect because I had a column next to be to lean on and I had to sit through most of the concert and my view wasn't blocked.

 Adie (Jeremy Camp's wife) opened the concert and I LOVED her, she brought me to a place of worship pretty quickly with the songs she selected to sing.  HANDS IN THE AIR PRAISE GOD ON HIGH!!!!

Then Jeremy came out on stage alone and opened with a solo piece on the piano (my husband had no idea it was him until he moved to the front stool and picked up his guitar), then his band members just started drifting out onto stage and joining in.

Toward the end of the concert, Jeremy invited his daughters out on stage so they could dance to one of his songs and then he kissed them goodnight and they went off to bed with the nanny.

Finally Jeremy's wife Adie came out on stage to join Jeremy to close the concert, this fantastic over the top Spirit FILLED concert went on for almost 3 hours.

We had such a fantastic time.  

I am going to have to look for more Christian concerts in our area so we can do that again SOON ;-)
