I have been dreaming of a new SERIOUS camera for a while. I love taking pictures of my family, I love taking pictures PERIOD, and this particular camera has been on my wish list and I think it may be coming home to me soon. I would really like to take my picture taking skills to the next level. I have borrowed a friends camera a couple of times and both he and I have been happily impressed with the pictures I was able to capture. However, I hate borrowing his camera because it is worth several thousand dollars with all the upgrades he has done and the extra lenses he has. My husband and I have been talking it over and praying about whether to spend the money, and we feel we may have finally found a good deal and the timing is right just before our vacation at the end of this summer and before princess arrives. We both also think that this particular camera would be a great starter for me into the DSLR camera world. SO, watch for more posts HOPEFULLY coming soon ;-)

how exciting. I started just taking pictures of my girls and now it is turning into a business :) Hope you get to bring that home sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteThat is what I pray will happen for me too, just a few little photo sessions here and there. I did my first wedding last summer with my friends camera, and hope to continue doing little jobs like that with my own camera after I get used to it.
