Tonight after church we decided to take the boys to the park to visit the bears, see the ducks, and swing on the swings. The Park was filled with Memorial Day Weekend celebrators, but the weather was perfect, and finding some of the painted bears near the park was fun for the boys. I think we will begin to make a search for the 44 painted bears around town a new venture for Sunday nights after worship, because the boys seemed to really enjoy spying them out and giving them hugs.
We took a picture of D sitting on this bear when he was just 18 months old. I actually had a moment at the park last night and I saw him sitting on the bear with his feet almost touching the ground. My little baby is growing up :-(

The closest city to us has something similar to the bears - except they are penguins. They are all over the city - so when we are there shopping the kids are constantly shouting out - "I see a Penguin!" That's too bad about your little boys feet almost touching the ground...They shouldn't be allowed to grow up!! Have a great day!
