Kelly's Korner - Random Acts of Kindness

A few acts of kindness that I have done or would love to do:

1.  Take meals to someone recovering from surgery, just had a baby, or death in the family.  (This includes making 4-5 casseroles that can be frozen to stock a friends freezer during a rough time).

2.  Pay for a meal for a group of military personal eating at a table or booth near where we are sitting in a restaurant.  (We live in a military town, so this is fun and easy to do sometimes, it's just a way of saying Thank You for serving our nation).

3.  Go grocery shopping for a friend that is home bound for some reason.

4.  Buy a couple of bags of groceries for a family on hard times, hopefully you can find a way to do this anonymously.

5.  Visit a friend in the hospital with a stack of magazines and snacks if they are allowed to have them.

6.  Take care of a friends kids for the weekend, so she and her husband can have a weekend away.

7.  Show up at a friends house who you know has a paint project going on, ready to help with painting.

8.  Take a basket of fresh baked goods and snacks to your local fire station or police station.

9.  Buy coffee for the next person in line at Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks

10.  Buy a box of donuts or munchkins and a box of coffee, then deliver them to the office of your local school to thank the secretarial staff for their hard work.
