Day 15
(transcribed from diary I kept in Rachel's NICU space)
Rachel Update: Unfortunately we will not be coming home with Rachel today, prior to us arriving this morning she had a Brady where her heart rate dropped down to 73. IN additon she is not eating as much as they would like and her weight is down some. So they are going to give us another 24 hours of observing her before they make any decisions. Pray Pray Pray, we want our girl home healthy!
The NICU staff is wonderful, David and I had already checked out of the RMcD house this morning before coming over and finding out Rachel wasn't coming home with us. So, they set me up with a private family room IN the NICU and Rachel will get to sleep in here with me tonight while being monitored. Pray we have a good night with her heart and her feedings.
