What's for Dinner Tonight from Pinterest?

When I saw this recipe on Pinterest I saw that it was very similar to a SPAM recipe that we have been cooking on the stove for years, and so I knew that I had to make a few adjustments to this Crock Pot Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and give it a whirl.  Recipe adapted from from Six Sisters Stuff

Ingredients:
4-6 Boneless Chicken Breasts (mine were still frozen!)
1 Bottle Archer Farms Hawaiian Style Barbecue Sauce (from Target)
1 20 oz. can Pineapple Chunks, drained (reserve juice for later)
1 16 oz. jar of Maraschino Cherries, drained (reserve juice for later)
Green Peppers Chopped in large chunks (we leave this out because my husband doesn't like peppers)
Onion, sliced into bite size pieces (we leave this out too)

Directions:
Spray the inside of your crock pot with cooking spray for an easy cleanup!  Place frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot and cover with sauce.  Drain pineapple chunks and maraschino cherries and reserve juice in small pot for later, put fruit on top of chicken in crock pot.  Cook on High for 2-3 hours OR Low for 4-6 hours.  Shred chicken with two forks while still in the crock pot so the chicken will be well coated with sauce.  Serve over rice.
