Watching my baby Peonies GROW

Every year I eagerly anticipate my peony bushes getting nice and full and the little pink and red golf ball buds appearing.

 For weeks I watch these colorful little golf balls as the stretch toward the sunshine and begin to unfold.

 Soon the air around my patio will be perfumed with their fragrant smell.

I will be able to begin clipping full blooms to put in vases around my house so that my house too will be filled with their wonderful perfume

Oh how I love you my lovely peonies!!
