Deacon & Wives Christmas Party

This year my husband became a deacon in our church.  David has actually been a deacon for many years at our previous church honored to serve when asked by our current church body of deacons.

So for us this was our first time attending the deacon and wives annual Christmas party held at our town Country Club.

The club was decorated so beautifully for Christmas, I especially loved the Grinch tree.
This bright and festive sleigh display was in the foyer space of the club

This bright beautiful tree was in the dining space we held our Christmas dinner

Each table had one of these fish bowls filled with different vignette

This lovely pianist was actually the daughter of our Chairman of the Deacons, she played with such passion and perfection.  When we first arrived we thought it was a played piano and didn't realize there was someone playing it.

I hate that I didn't ask everyone to gather for table shots or a big group shot.  It was honestly a lovely evening and the food was amazing, most of all I enjoyed the company of the other deacon couples witting with us at our table.  Equally so the special speaker and the time of singing Christmas carols.  (We did compete a little Cyndi Lauper toons from the party going on in the next room, but hopefully we were a testimony to those who passed our dinning area on their way to and from the bar HA)

Menu
Spinach Salad
Seasoned Green Beans
Mixed Vegetables
Twice Baked Potato
Rolls
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Sirloin

Great Food, Wonderful Company and Titillating Conversation!
