Part of our July 4th weekend included a wonderful old fashioned neighborhood parade at the home of our friends Josh and Emily. It was like being a part of a Norman Rockwell image. I can not believe how much fun it was to sit in their front yard and watch the 4th of July decked out bikes, golf carts, and cars. The boys really loved the parade, the tossing of the candy, and waving their flags as the parade passed by.
After the parade we had a great time hanging out in the back yard and munching on fantastic picnic foods. The boys discovered a new game that they loved, the t-ball stand, and digging in the dirt looking for "cute" bugs.
