Wish List Wednesday

I have been researching a more powerful camera that I can begin working with.  A friend of mine loaned me his camera over the summer so that I could practice using it, he wanted me to take pictures of a wedding at our church because he felt I had a natural eye for it.  Of course his camera was the Canon EOS 50D Digital camera and he had every lens to go with it.  So far I have not found a way to afford such a fantastic camera, but I follow several photographer blogs like MckMama and Momtog and a few others who make the recommendation of using a Canon Rebel for your first DSLR.

So I have been checking on line for some ways to purchase this camera if I have a good couple months with my Southern Living at HOME business and I found the Canon EOS Rebel T1i 15MP on QVC.  The nice thing about sites like QVC or HSN is that when they have a product your looking for, often times they give you payment options such as spreading payments over several months instead of having to pay one lump sum up front and if your using your bank Visa check card, that means no interest, BONUS.  For those of us who can't afford to pay out $600+ out of pocket at one time, this makes it easier to purchase items we want for our lives.
